| We’re happy to say that we can look back on a wonderful and eventful 2012. And now, get your calendars and take notes of what awaits you in the Hungarian Club from 12th January 2013.

18 alkalommal lehetőséget biztosítson a szabad idő közös eltöltésére,
szülők és gyermekek számára új barátságok megkötésére és a foglalkozások
alatt a magyar nyelv használatának gyakorlására. A
fejlesztését, használatának tovább örökítését a fiatalabb generáció
számára, illetve ezen keresztül magyar nemzetünk hagyományainak,
kulturális örökségének ünneplését és ápolását. A Klub továbbá
felvállalja a családok szakmai támogatását gyermekeik két– illetve
többnyelvűvé nevelésében előadások és fórumok szervezésével. A

About Us
The Hungarian Club in Woking was established with the aim of developing an active and well organised Hungarian Community for families with Hungarian background and connections. The Club commits itself to offer at least 18 occasions/sessions per year for the families to gather with the intention of maintaining and celebrating the Hungarian traditions and cultural heritage. The Club also provides support in bringing up bilingual and, in many cases, multilingual children through providing talks by experts and organising informal discussions throughout the academic years. The Hungarian Club is
about Hungarian families and is organised by the Hungarian parents,
therefore the Club is in the position to offer various volunteering
opportunities. These opportunities are open for those who seek work
experience in working with children, in family support or in catering.
This opportunity also open for those who are working towards their Duke
of Edinburgh Award or other similar awards.
